Place: Winter rice fields, somewhere in the banks of Axios river!
This bird was found in a field with its wing broken. Rescuing it sounds an easy task, but it is easier said than done! The members of “Action for Wildlife” group worked methodically and bravely, ignoring the bad weather conditions and some technical issues that arose during this effort. The depicted Dalmatian Pelican was very weak and there was an old fracture on its wing. We really hope it manages to fully recover so that it returns again to the sky and hunt fish in sea, river and lake waters!
