Action for Wildlife and Hellenic Wildlife Hospital
The Hellenic Wildlife Hospital (HWH) is the oldest wildlife welfare centre in Greece. It established an infrastructure for the care and treatment of wild animals in Greece, and we hold it up as a fine example of voluntary work and contribution to wildlife. It has inspired, and continues to inspire, old and young volunteers to protect Greek wildlife.
The members of Action for Wildlife used to constitute the HWH Thessaloniki group, that is the HWH first aid station of our city. In Action for Wildlife, we continue to work with the same passion towards the same goal, supporting HWH. We collaborate, sending there all the animals that need further care and rehabilitation.
HWH, synonymous with animal welfare and voluntary work, is, and will continue to be, a point of reference for our group.
